{"id":6,"date":"2022-07-25T18:43:33","date_gmt":"2022-07-25T18:43:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mobilizeorn.org\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2026-01-06T15:12:49","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T15:12:49","slug":"mobilize-orn","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mobilizeorn.org\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobilize the Opioid Response Network Today!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mobilize the <em>Opioid Response Network<\/em> Today!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Mobilize Recovery is collaborating with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration-funded <em>Opioid Response Network (ORN)<\/em> led by the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry working with University of Missouri\u2013Kansas City, Columbia University and a 46 partner organization coalition spanning prevention, treatment, recovery and beyond. <em>ORN<\/em> offers no-cost, evidence-based training and education to meet local needs in addressing the opioid crisis and issues arising from all substance use disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We Help You Help Others<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the <em>Opioid Response Network<\/em>?<\/strong> The <em>Opioid Response Network (ORN) <\/em>is structured like a temporary agency to enhance local initiatives through no-cost education and training. Every state and territory has local <em>ORN<\/em> consultants to help build on existing efforts, refine and fill gaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How can the <em>Opioid Response Network<\/em> help you?<\/strong> <em>ORN<\/em> works with counties, states, health professionals, communities, organizations, grass roots initiatives, the justice system and <em>anybody<\/em> that asks for help. All training and education is provided at no cost. For example, <em>ORN<\/em> can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide evidence-based practices and guidance on Naloxone distribution and market saturation. This can be as simple as a Zoom Q&amp;A discussion or an inhouse, all staff training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentorship on recovery housing and recovery support services. <em>ORN<\/em> recovery consultants can provide education on local regulatory considerations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver an on demand presentation on the science of addiction and the effectiveness of medications for opioid use disorder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How does it work?<\/strong> <em>ORN<\/em> responds reactively to requests for education and training.
